I don't want the same shit every other console is getting on the Switch. I want exclusives and unique games, not CoD, Assassin's Creed, FIFA, etc. And most people who buy Nintendo consoles don't do it for those games.

This couldn't be further from the truth. Portability is a gimmick. Where are you going to carry your portable device to? To your desk, or your gaming area, because that is the one area you've likely set up the best to play games at.

Does the game look the best it could?
Does it perform the best it could?
Do you have access to all the DLC and mods?
If it can be played online, do you have access to the best possible network service and the most active playerbase?
Are you using your preferred controller?
This list could go on and on, and it is the real determining factor in whether or not a game is definitive. Needless to say, the switch does not apply for many of these.

They gimped all Wii U centric features, such as an ever present map on the gamepad (initially the entire reason the Sheikah Slate existed as a mechanic), the load times are better on Switch, putting it into sleep mode drastically reduces the amount of loading between play sessions, and the Switch version recently got a free item service to go with news posts which they decided not to make backwards compatible using Miiverse.
