Like how Thermite has rolled sleeves, Castle has exposed arms, Pulse and Ash don't have helmets, etc.

Notice how the original 12!operators all had their faces concealed in someway? Practically everybody with the exception of Pulse who still wore those thick black goggles. Nice design philosophy, makes sense.

Now notice how few of the operators thus far have followed that.

Even if you bought Siege through Steam, it still runs via Uplay, so maybe that's where it's getting hung up. Try installing the Uplay launcher separately, log in, then launch Siege.

That's what dataminers found as an internal name in the game files. The character's actual name could be something completely different, it just implies the devs called him that because his ability works like caltrops, I imagine by dropping something on the ground that hurts and / or sticks to enemies that walk over it.
