Dark Souls 1 and Dark Souls 2 aren't as fun now as they were when they launched, because the online community is very small now. Dark Souls 3 is still very active though

Helping other people as a phantom, getting invaded, and invading people are the most fun I've ever had in the Souls games, and I've played all of them for several hundred hours

The normal enemies and bosses are so brain dead they're not even fun after you beat them once and know their gimmick

I'm probably halfway through the catacombs (rolly skeletons). What % would you say I'm at?

The church is when you kill the boss for that area (deacons). You get an item that lets you progress past the barrier after the catacombs.

Except in Bloodborne they're all good except for one.

I'm still wondering why everyone ranks Dark Souls 1 so highly when absolutely everything past the first few areas of the game was abysmal save for parts of Anor Londo and Gwyn. I found Dark Souls 3 to be consistently fun throughout the entire game, something that even Bloodborne couldn't quite manage to do for me.
