Is it worth it? Should I give it another honest try. I mained SCH and want to have a WHM and have all leveling gear for it. However I picked up samurai and I give more damage than others in 60 gear a basically can carry dungeon and 8 man runs from pure pushing DPS AOE/Single target. Sam is stupid dumb tbqh and the numbers you can pull out don't make much sense regarding 4man (which in the end doesn't really matter but still).Healer is so much more involved thats the main appeal once you burn in a rotation in your head as dps you can basically shut your brain off depending on the difficulty of DPS.

Dunno about that. That plan only worked this time because Zenos got a boner fighting the WoL and spared them on multiple occasions. He let us gain 10 levels, get a bunch of friends to help us and eventually nerfed himself by merging with a Primal to fight the Eikon Slayer.

If he had just murdered the WoL during the occasions he actually had them beat, the plan wouldn't have worked in the slightest.

Maybe next time the villain wont feel as charitable.

Geirskogul no longer reduces your BotD timer, your timer is longer, Fang and Claw and Wheeling Thrust can be chained together, and you get a dank new damage-increasing tether, MIRAJU DAIVU, and actually useful AoE that also keeps your BotD timer up.

On the flip side, you have Life of the Dragon to keep up now, and if you fuck up you'll be set back anywhere from 30s to two minutes. Optimizing it in fights despite mechanics kicking you in the balls is challenging, but decently fun to pull off. Kind of underwhelming, honestly.

They take forever to build up, fall off whenever Blood of the Dragon falls off, and aren't hugely rewarding for when you do get them. It's also somewhat frustrating to try to line all of your CDs up with them.

It's not a huge deal if you don't care super hard about optimizing damage, like if you're running dungeons or other casual content, but it can be a bit frustrating.

I think I'm one of the few MCH mains who actually likes the changes. Heated shots look amazing. I get to throw out WF a lot more often now as opposed to just spamming 1-2-3 and a few oGCD in between. My turret feels like it has some sort of impact in fights besides just being a floating MP/TP battery that I have to slug out. And as gimmicky as Flamethrower is, it's still really fun to use, both in the opener and AOE.

The only thing that could make it better is if we got the 10% Hypercharge back.

WAR was awful up until 4.05, they fixed the biggest problem with it though. They really feel great now.
DRG makes no sense to be because it never reaches its burst window the way the buff timings work, not sure if that changed since 4.0, haven't tried it since.
BRD is laughably good right now. It is easily the most guaranteed job for raid teams.

PLD's alright, Holy Spirit spam does some good damage but standing still and casting the same thing over and over for a while is a depressingly boring burst window.
DRK feels a little gutted, but The Blackest Night is a great skill.
I like the ideas behind SCH's new kit but MP costs still need serious tweaking.
