It makes a difference only if you are willing to hack the console.
Otherwise it's used only for Xenoblade, Hyrule Warriors and Isaac.

Depends on the game. If it came out after the N3DS debuted it take advantage of it. DQ7 and 8 load much faster, but I don't think it's a large enough difference.

Honestly, if I had to recommend a model I'd go for the N2DS.

Does the New 2DS have the same squishy buttons and Dpad as the original 2DS?
I can't stand the clicky ones with short travel on the regular 3DS models.

n3ds is the only 3ds with ips screens, but it's a gamble, you might get tn screens.

Can't see what's wrong with the screens being at an angle, and in any case you could always tilt the upper screen further so that it's not at an angle with the bottom one.

New 3DS performance boosts are a bit selective from game to game, if anything MH4U was probably the most notable benefactor when it cames to the O3DS can also play. However with CFW, which is easy as piss to get now on any firmware thanks magnethax, you can run games with faster CPU clock speeds, but it won't magically unlock framerates and the GPU is the bottleneck.

That said, I'd insist on getting something like a New 2DS XL, which is quite recent.

i got one because anything i wanted to play with dpad controls is beyond hand destroying on any 3ds
