Why were medics so braindead?

>when I last played TF2 I enjoyed playing quick fix medic
>my team usually shat on me for not having Uber or Krits
>but at the same time I always kept everyone as full health and could get around lots by piggy backing off of explosive jumps and scouts
it may have been one of the 'worst' medic guns but it definitely was one of the most fun, especially when paired with the Crossbow

If TF2 was more flexible in how it played, like we could get modes/maps on a larger scale (teleports from spawn?) imagine a quick fix medic nesting in sentry nests. Like a super charged dispenser for healing while being tucked away from the front lines.

I kind of feel sorry for that guy when I drop down on his overhealed heavy buddy who can't even hit me at close range.

It's literally a straight upgrade weapon.

Nothing is more satisfying then RCing some bitch pocket medic second-handedly.
