I guess it depends on your taste. My brother got one used, maybe for 70€, and loves it. Plays Danganrompa, GravityRush, some Miku, Hotline Miami, SkullGirls.

I have a 3DS, though. I love it, but I give you that the line up is not as strong as I hoped it would be.

vita is dead. Sony abandoned it ages ago. They don't even sell new vitas anymore in the west.

Only get an older one from a pawnshop so you can hack it. I regret mine just because Soul Sacrifice and Freedom wars are the only games I enjoyed that weren't ported to better platforms.

Vita has a good library, but most of its best games you can also play on Sony's home systems and new releases are either weeb games or indies. Sony abandoned it after two years, unfortunately.

Do you love weeb games? If so, you probably own one already. If not, don't bother.

Furthermore a Playstation TV is just a Vita you can plug into a TV that's substantially cheaper anyway and will let you play most of the worthwhile games.

Don't expect frequent releases, as Western devs have all but abandoned the platform. Sony themselves no longer make games for it.

Yeah. If you check the Playstation website it's not even on their main menu bar and is relegated to a drop down menu along with the PS3. If you check their shop page it's not even listed.

You can only get the most out of the Vita if you use it as an actual handheld, since by now most of its games have been ported to PS4/PC and it also has many ports itself.
It's a wonderful machine with an immense library, but if you just want something to use at home might as well buy a PS4.

Most digital PSP games are, but some aren't, and you're boned on physical-only games. But if you get a 3.60 Vita and softmod it, you can install Adrenaline and then do anything a CFW PSP does.

It is but you should've gotten one any time in the last year before Sony blocked activation and therefor free PSP emulation. Nobody knows when it'll be possible again.

Under Night In-Birth Exe: Late[st] is coming out on all three Playstation platforms (PS3, PS4, and Vita)

The Persona Dancing games are also on PS4. I'm more worried about the Vita releases even coming out in the West. I would assume they will, but you never know
