Its fire breath extends well beyond the length and height of the already large dragon and it can also release a reactive powder as well. This powder is more expansive than Teostra's and can be ignited. The exact workings of Fatalis's explosive attacks is still unknown. The Fatalis also possesses the extremely rare and deadly Dragon Element.

The scariest part about this legend is that not only is its strength far beyond the ones from the other legends, but its body shows signs of possible regenerative powers. This means that this Fatalis maybe able to regenerate after taking large amounts of damage, just like Dire Miralis can regenerate from its still beating heart. Thankfully, this legend hasn't been proven as of yet so the Guild has nothing to worry about.

The special organ in its chest sucks in air before releasing it out of its wings, along with this red energy. Valphalk's breathing methods is nearly identical to birds in a sense. This organ is constantly glowing red and occasionally pulses whenever Valphalk decides to use it for certain actions, such as flying.

To defend itself, the Teostra also utilizes a heat shield which damages enemies that get too close. To keep its flame powers going, they consume coal in volcanic environments. It doesn't actually. The Ecology stuff is just there for those who like the lore. Most of the stuff on the monsters is a general overview of their abilities and item drops.

Kiranico only provides tiny blurbs on a specific monster. It does NOT provide anything beyond that. It's primary focus is on their strengths, weaknesses, and drops. It is closer to a game guide, not something that provides lorw or background information. Say what you want about the Ecologies, at least they provide SOMETHING.

It is not advised to go out into the Desert, Volcano, Swamp, or Tower when pairing with Lunastra, as the prospect of fighting both Lunastra and Teostra together is often considered suicidal.
