you need to turn every card.
>>
None need to be turned. Allowing yourself to have rules, but also have the possibility a rule gets broken knowingly is not a game you should support.

If the rules state a thing, the card(s) designed for the game are made with that rule in place. If a rule goes broken, it isn't a rule.

>rule
>must
words have meaning you idiots.
>>
>>386983825
no i messed up. you don't need to turn the 3rd card
>>
>>386983909
Why do you need to turn the K and the 7 over?
>>
>>386983376
I don't know OP but I would appreciate recommendations. I haven't found anything quite like them since I played them. The Turing Test looked promising but it was way too easy and way too short.
>>
>>386983837
thanks for playing
>>
>>386983957
There is no need to turn over the K, however if there is a vowel on the over side of 7 the rule is broken
>>
>>386983957
if K or 7 have a vowel on the other side, the rule is broken.
>>
>>386984050
What if there is a vowel on the other side of the K?
>>
>>386984050
you have to turn K.
if there is a vowel behind it, it means that there is a card with a vowel and a consonant, and not an even number
>>
>>386983837
are you seriously implying you can't break a rule.
dude wtf
>>
>>386983376

Turn over all of them just to be sure.
>>
>>386984119
>>386984158
Doesn't matter, the rule doesn't state that there can't be an even number on the other side of a consent, only that if it is a vowel it must.

All vowels mean even numbers
Not all even numbers mean vowels
>>
>>386984429
If the card has a vowel on one side, and a 'K' on the other side, it breaks the rule.
>>
>>386983376
>A = vowel
Vowel must have an even number, card must be flipped to check.

>K = consonant
There is no rule that says anything about what a consonant has to have on the other side, nor would it be against the rules to have an even number on the other side of the card. Don't flip.

>2 = Even
Nothing in the rules about having on consonant on the other side of an even number. Don't flip.

>7 = Odd
If there is a vowel on the other side, the rules would be broken. Have to flip to check.

So flip A and 7
>>
>>386983376
All except the 2 must be turned over.
>>
>>386983376
2017: Obduction
>>
>>386983957
You only need to do A and 7.

A proves there needs to be an even. 7 to make sure there is no vowel
>>
>>386984429
yeah but like i said, if there is a vowel behind the K, it means that behind a vowel is not an even number, which is breaking the rules.
>>
>>386984080
>>386984158
Reading comprehension is a helluva drug

>If a card has a vowel on one side it MUST have an even number on the other side.

This doesn't mean a card with a consonant CAN'T have an even number.
Nor does it mean that a card with an even number MUST have a vowel.
Only that any card with a vowel on it HAS to have an even number.

The rule ONLY applies to vowels, not to even numbers or consonants

You only need to turn over the vowel and see whats on the other side. if it's an even the rule is true if there isn't an even then it's false.

The other cards are irrelevant. they can have whatever they want on the other side.
>>
Should put Antichamber as 2013.
>>
>>386984551
if the consonant has a vowel on the other side, the rules are broken
>>
>>386984551
>There is no rule that says anything about what a consonant has to have on the other side
Yeah, but there's also no rule that says the cards must have a number on one side and a letter on the other. The K card might have a vowel on the other side.
>>
>>386984551
What if the K has a vowel on the other side? We have no evidence to assume it may not.
>>
>>386984609
Obduction was a 2016 release.
>>
>>386984269
>>rule
>>must
>words have meaning you idiots.
No, he knows english, which most people here do not.
>>
>>386984672
ok you are just trolling.
gg man
>>
>>386983584
You also need to make sure 7 doesn't have a vowel on the other side
>>
>>386984672
>flip 7 card over
>It has an E on the other side
>"but you only need to flip the A card dur"

You're a fucking idiot.
>>
>>386984672
It does mean a card with an odd can't have a vowel, so you need to check the 7 too.
>>
>>386983376
K has an A on one side and a 2 on the other. None of them.
>>
>>386984821
in my country we have a rule that you have to have a drivers license to drive a car.
i know many people that drove a car without it.
the rule still exists, even though some people broke it. you can break a rule.
>>
>>386984269
The test's most obvious "I'm right!" failstate is assuming the reverse of the rule to be true when it necessarily isn't. This preys on you using your intuition and not follow the rule to the letter as it is designed. The next assumption is that the rule is DESIGNED to be followed to the letter, as it is a test for just this purpose.

You take all those suppositions, then realize they hinge on you assuming, ergo agreeing, that the rules are designed to be followed, again since its a test. So you end up with the penultimate piece being:
>the rules have to be followed

To assume you are being tricked is common, this test preys on just that assumption. The age old adage of "the winning move is to not play" holds true.
>>
>>386984672
If they have vowels on the other side they violated the rule. You have to flip them, all.
>>
a consonant can't have a vowel behind it people. this is easy stuff mang
>>
>>386984672
No you're wrong. These >>386984538 >>386984158 >>386984080 guys are right.
You have to turn over a minimum of three cards, the A K and 7. You don't have to turn over the 2 because whether or not it's a vowel on the other side the rule is followed. You have to turn over A for obvious reasons, but K and 7 could have a vowel on the other side in which case the rule is broken.
>>
>>386985028
yeah but that's really gay semantics.
just play the game
>>
>>386984981
Must is not a rule you fucking retard. LEARN ENGLISH. They are two different words with two different meanings.
>>
>>386985179
But then you don't win, and thats also pretty gay.
>>
>>386985028
dude ffs ergo this and ergo that.
there is a stated rule, and you are able to follow it but you don't have to.
the point of this test is to see, if the manufacturer of these cards followed the rule set that he was told to follow.
he either followed them or didn't. no one knows the truth without checking.
>>
>>386985462
dude i already won.
you need to flip A,K and 7.
gg
>>
none of the cards need to be turned over

video games
>>
>>386983376

since the variable is 'if a card has a vowel', the requirement to follow the rule only applies to cards with vowels. so the A card is the only card that needs to be checken
>>
>>386986106
just read the thread
>>
>>386986189

no
>>
>>386986252
then remain an ignorant fool
>>
I turn over all of them because it's just 4 cards and I'm not wasting that much more time.
>>
/v/ is full of retards
