Bloodborne-like Castlevania game when?
I want a Castlevania that is terrifying and makes me confront the hordes of Castlevania's worst horrors head on with norhing but a whip and a couple of holy weapons, not these anime-esque games like Lords of Shadow where the Belmonts are acrobatic super heroes with Dragon Ball Z magic attacks.

My personal favorite along with Circle of the Moon, but that's just because nostalgia and personal preference. I love the GBA castlevania games a lot, but my opinion isn't a end-all be-all.

I need more Aria of Sorrow rip-offs games. All the metroidvanias will never equal AoS, period.

There's still some issues with the game overall though. I hated the weapon upgrade system, rewarded grinding as opposed to exploration like the previous titles. Animations were also a lot slower than the previous games, which felt kind of bad. Didn't like how they stashed two of the really fun mobility abilities at the end either.

Perfectly playable game though, particularly with the hacks.

My fav after Symphony...I beat Aria without even realizing I was gonna beat it so the fact thats its kinda short holds it back
