If you could remove all the memories from a game to replay it again and enjoy it to the fullest, what game would it be?

Ace Combat 4. What a ride that was.
Xenokino

Since a lot of my enjoyment of OoT comes from nostalgia, not OoT
LoZ: BotW, without any doubt
>>386946073
I can't wait to play that but I have no money to buy a Switch or Wii U
Final Fantasy XI
>>386945634
Dark Souls 1
Skyrim
i had to think about it for a while but this shit has probably contributed about 2000 hours of fun both on my own and with friends over the course of my life
>>386946449
So you want to forget having fun with friends?
>>386946449
Do you remember the stats window? Where you could see all the hours, combats, how many times you KO'd someone...
I had all the time stats at 999:99:99
This has been the FUNNIEST game I've played my whole life
Oddly... Diablo 3
The game was such a massive clusterfuck at release that I just rage dropped it. I was so angry that it put me off being able to enjoy it. Now a lot of shit has been fixed and it is probably worth a run through but that initial fuck up ruined it.
Would be nice to be able to play the current game without that sour taste in my mouth.
Resident Evil Remake and Final Fantasy IX
New Vegas
Probably Majora's Mask.
>>386946792
I can understand why but NV is the type of game I like more on a second or third play through cause I know more about what I can actually do more in the game if that makes sense.
>>386945634
Ace Attorney
>>386946983
Yeah, which is why I plan on erasing my memories of it and playing 5 times.
>>386945634
>>386947042
Ok makes sense
>>386945634
Whoa! Is that young Ciri looking up at Cahir at the massacre of Cintra?!
>>386945634
MGS1
>how do i call meryl?
>how do i beat mantis?
>where do i cool the PAL key?
>>386945634
Unironically Portal and Portal 2.
>>386946195
If you're gonna buy one, buy a switch because it'll be more relevant in the future
>>386947679
My problem is that I could buy one today but I'm not sure if I'll play as much as I want to make sure I didn't throw the money in the trash
>>386947749
In terms of playing games that are out right now, get a Wii U. In terms of getting support for the future (and the better console) get a Switch
I felt like a detective the first time I exited the Mortuary. I'd ask harlots and anyone who seemed knowledgeable about Pharod's whereabouts and my own condition. Nowadays I know where to go and who to specifically talk to, to actually progress through the game. I also wish I could experience all the revelations about TNO and the companions' backgrounds once more. Dak'kon's especially had me taken aback.
>>386946591
>a lot of shit has been fixed
That's what they want you to think. It's the same fucking boring ass game.
>>386945634
Monkey Island
i've yet to find a comfier game

This turned into a book yet so I don't have to drudge through awful "gameplay"?
>>386946275
Playing this for the first time now
>>386947894
>I haven't played D3 since launch
It went from a 4/10 to a 6/10, it is much better, but it's still not good.
>>386947434
I don't know what it is about this game. I loved it so much I played through it three times one after the other. I go and play the other games in the series and most of them I didn't even finish.
What exactly did vesperia do so right?
>>386948012
Funny you ask that, since the game had an actual novelization back then. But don't bother with it, it's pretty awful, like the Baldur's Gate ones.
Also, I don't get all the complaining about the gameplay. Yes, it isn't great and it does get repetitive, but it isn't that far off from BG's or Icewind Dale's. It's just a less complex version of the standard real time w/ pause that they employed.
>>386945634
Runescape, Mario 64, Morrowind, New Vegas, Halo in that order
Both Paper Mario's
Chrono Cross for the opening.

BotW's fun comes from figuring out the world
No subsequent playthrough will ever be as good as the first one
>>386946275
this or chrono trigger.

>>386945634
Devil May Cry 3 it's not fair we haven't gotten a sequel since 4 god dammit
>>386950062
must not have played very many games then
>>386946347
Great choice
>>386950169
if it had to be one would Monkey Island be a good choice?
>>386950267
at least its not a game by some dweeb
>>386949686
Why's that? Do you miss the stylish commands and audience? I mean sure did when I played it, but the first still holds up.
>>386950941
>videogame creators
>not dweebsBut honestly, that's why you don't liek UT,
I could think of dozens that don't have anything to do with the fanbase.
The World Ends With You.
That feel when more weeks.
Terraria, all day erryday.
If I could play again from v1.0 with friends and start over fresh with every major update then that would be the cherry on top.
Dead Space
>>386945634
Metal Gear Solid
Before MGS, I was a 14 year old who barely had any interest in games. MGS opened my third eye and prepared my anus for the one hobby I'd end up holding onto for the rest of my days.

Am I the only one who doesn't want to do that? VtMB is my favorite game and the first few times I played it were great, but I've played it so much now and gotten so much out of it that it would take years for me to get everything back. The music, reading all of the lore, just getting drawn into the atmosphere and learning everything about the game... Seems like it would just be a huge waste of time to lose it all. I'm looking forward to VR getting better and eventually playing VtMB through that instead of imagining losing all memory of it.
Kid Icarus Uprising holy fucking fuck
Morrowind
Starting out, the world is just so fucking alien and engaging
>>386945870
Im unfamiliar with this one.
>>386952096
Ring any bells now?
>you will never play Malkavian for the first time ever again
>>386945634
new vegas
if i did that with OoT i probably wouldnt enjoy it. i'd rather keep the memories
>>386945870
Is 2 as good as the first one?
Probably Oneshot.
Mainly because if you play it ruins the illusion in the next playthroughs.
Hotline Miami
Ever since i got good at it and now speedrun it, I find it way to boring.
I wish i could go back to when it took me 30 minutes and it was adrenaline fueled
>>386946528
in order to go through it again, yes.
World of warcraft
>>386953339
*30 minutes to beat each level
Ace combat. The whole holy trinity
>>386953259
Hell no. level design sucks donkey dick in comparison to the first
Probably WoW
Single player definitely Bioshock or Red Dead Redemption
