Get in on enso you can do some cool shit. I don't even need an SD card but will get one anyway so I don't have to cycle between games. I was lucky enough to get a 32gb card with a used vita for 100 on craigslist about a year ago.

As of right now you can pirate Vita, PSP, and emulate anything the PSP was able to emulate. Vita's homebrew scene is still young but in theory we can see Vita-specific emulators that take advantage of the hardware.

Vita TV has a better use for storage via USB.
Anyone that hasn't activated a 3.60 Vita before enso came out and intend to use adrenaline are out of luck until September at the earliest.
You can't rip your physical games while having the adapter inside the same card slot if you're a physicalfag.
Have to be stuck with 3.60 in order for the card to even be useful.
Can't play 3.61+ games.

Probably missing something else, but I rest my case.

I don't like fucking with my official firmware and there's not enough games to make this worthwhile.

The vita is one of the most secure consumer devices on the market. It has a really interesting story and hardware spec I highly recommend looking into it if your into that sort of thing.

If it's before 3.61, the hacks are pretty good. Henkaku let's you do a lot, you can edit themes, have multiple accounts, edit bubbles, and probably more.
The account switching hack works on 3.61+ as does a hack to create a bubble that makes your PS Vita a PSP that can run emulators if I recall correctly
