Combat, difficulty and stealth wise, Assassin's Creed Unity oddly did the best. They should have just kept everything from that, including the animation. This looks more like an action game now.

With what I played I give it a 7.5/10 the exploration and settings are great. I wasn't a fan of the skill tree for archery/melee/stealth since I felt limited to one tree. Missions are pretty repetitive in style but I got a decent amount of really fun ones. Boss battles are pretty creative too. If you're curious about the combat the AI is fucking awful and you can just mash dodge and you'll never get hit. Heavy weapons are also broken as fuck but that might've changed for release. Enemy variety is also really lacking. Same enemy types from start to end make it pretty tedious to invade the farcry esque camps in the game.

Now after watching the video I realize the issue with the game is that they offer all these different stats and weapon types and ways to kill BUT the enemies themselves are boring as fuck to fight. Difficulty of the normal non unique enemies just do more damage and have more health. No difference in fighting style. The only exception would be the boss battles or unique enemies which was the most fun aspect of the game.

Well after actually watching the video I can say the following:
-Yeah, "X is now Dark souls" is a meme and needs to end, but this game is really trying to add stuff from that game like this guy explained just at the beggining (changing mini cut-scenes for actual hitboxes, backstab, parry, lock-on, bosses, different weapons, etc.)
-The graphics looks cool except for the characters wich looks as buggy as always. Just look at the enemy that is being backstabbed and actually turning, or the charged hard hit that throws the enemy to the ground (at 5:00 they repeat the scene). After a hit he stan up in a buggy way
-It may look strange because they are doing new stuff, wich is good even if they are getting their ideas from other games
-Would I pay for it? No, its fucking Buggisoft and even if I don't hate them they are lazy as fuck and transform new ideas in DLC so the base game you get is only a beta. I may play it in 5 years when AC: Atlantis is about to be announced and it cost 5 dlls without season pass

I legit still have a copy of Unity that I never played or even opened. Show I wait and trade it in fresh as it is for a discount when origins comes out or am I'm being stupid and should play unity. I loved the ezio trilogy, bits of the first game (MC Sucked and so did the most of the targets you had o kill. Can't remember a single one), black flag and I'm very interested by what origins can offer.

Played 3 which had made me apprehensive of the games that came after (besides black flag because shantys were god tier, best collectable I've ever had to collect in a game) and when I heard about the shit that was going down with newly released Unity (got it for a gift) I've just ignored it for years.

Currently playing through Unity, and I agree with all your points. With this one though, for what it's worth you get free Helix points. You get enough to buy I think 3 of the 4 maps. And two of them you don't need in the fucking least (I think they're Paris Stories and Murder Mysteries). I bought the other two (chests/cockades and Nostradamus) with Helix points you get just for playing the game and connecting to your Uplay account. But yeah, I don't like how viewpoints don't show everything on the map now.

I dunno mang, it looks pretty fun to me. I finished Syndicate a few weeks ago, it wasn't as good Unity why I thought was very good.

I know, and of course it's annoying as shit. I'm just saying that you can get the point before even starting the game. They're not unlocked gradually like, say, Sync Points (which is something I really hated the idea of). You get like 150 for just starting the game, and you can IMMEDIATELY connect to Uplay and get 300 more, for a total of 450. A map is 150 each. I didn't buy them immediately, but I got the sync points after doing like the first mission in the game.

Looks good to me, very excited for this game. Black Flag is the best one and this is by the same team.


On a side note, I just watched the movie yesterday and it put me in the mood for some AC again. Last one I played was Unity, and ended up skipping Syndicate. Was that any good? Also, really wish Michael Fassbender was the protagonist of the games now and kind of wish we could get more medieval set games in the series since we only got one but then 3 set in the Renaissance and like 6 set during the 1700-1800's.
