If thats the new model, why not make it so that people who pay for the game at launch become aware of this, that the publishers and devs let people know "hey, you're basically paying to beta test this, when the game becomes F2P people who buy the game basically save themselves the mercy of grindan and get a bunch of our f2p currency"? Lawbreakers was meant to be F2P, they publicly said that, but decided against it.
Like battleborn, it will go F2P eventually.
What they are dong with this model of business is good old deception, they aren't pretending it will go F2P, it is just obvious that it is doa, because it is a F2P tier jewish game with no marketing and microtransaction or grind gameplay.

Hate to be that guy to suck bliazzards dick but their model of business is the best around.
Fre content for everyone, keep the game fresh.
Purely optional microtransactions for purely optional cosmetic only items that we can earn slowly eventually.
It allows them to keep working on the game by being financed by idiots who pay for that shit, but doesn't fuck us over by forcing us to grind in a game to get shit (Like GTAV did)

Bad marketing is a factor but more importantly the game is just terrible. Bland characters and art direction and awful, slide-y movement mechanics. Seriously, the movement was supposed to be the selling point but it just feels so sloppy, like your momentum carries you everywhere you go.
