It's subjectively "better" in the sense of being more concise and directed in terms of gameplay I guess, but not objectively better as a whole.

Sonic Heroes is probably my least favorite main series game.

>You have to replay through the same level 4 times.

It just felt boring, If there were different levels and bosses for the different teams then the game wouldn't feel so repetitive and stale.

The whole team mechanic just wasn't fun, i felt dragged by the two other players. The game gameplay just came to a complete stop when you were a speed character and were force to be a flying or power type. It felt horrible
