the downside is repurposed stages, but many of these are remixed pretty thoroughly. the parts that aren't are still a bunch of "best of" set-pieces + new stuff.

i'm a little worried about some of the level design, but the streamer didn't look great anyway.

idk it seems easily better than s3&k and that's one of my favorite games.

This genuinely bugs me the most out of the whole package. The story seems kind of unfinished and haphazard. While I do love S3&K, the presentation of the story and the levels is absolutely my favorite part. It feels like a proper adventure, with the way you go through the levels.

Mania doesn't quite scratch that itch it seems. The levels on their own look fantastic to go through but without that wonderful interconnected feeling and narrative elements it's a little underwhelming
