There will be no new xpac.

From here on out it'll be similar to the D3 necro release, ie, paid DLC. About once a year, probably adding classes, zones, and quest chains.

The next "expansion" will probably be a big global event that'll overhaul the overworld, similar to cata, except it'll be a "back to roots" sort of attempt with a more PvP focus. More Alliance vs Horde centric, and Blizzard, for the last time, will try to revitalize world PvP. Maybe conquerable towns, world bosses, etc. My guess for the next class release is going to be some kind of barbarian. Low armor, high HP, dynamic, heave melee type character.
