Speed-running FF7 takes 8 hours, that's the bare minimum for it. "Arino's Challenge" is to beat the games in a 12 hour period. There's no way he could do that. Long ass rpgs do not conform well to this challenge.

It has to have had a Japanese release. So I'm not really sure how to handle that. Did the DOS release get a proper release? I don't know. I know the Playstation and Saturn versions got releases. So should that version be suggested? It's kind of choppy, low FPS, has completely different music, so it's pretty different.

They fucked up the camera, planted unnecessary hint signs everywhere, going up whirlwinds doesn't follow you (just a fade to black and bam you're up), Spyro's walking speed is molasses and his charging speed is now the same as NA's walking speed, they gave him high pitch noises when he jumps, Sparx doesnt change color, they burned our crops, poisoned the water supply and brought the plague to our houses.

It was also the moment certain senior staff came to hate Tsuruoka. He allegedly napped during the broadcast and it was allegedly caught of camera. And he also gave Arino some bad information to make him go to awarp that would have sent him over 20 floors back and would have ruined the challenge if Arino didn't hit the restart button.
