the castle management and building was quite fun.
Isometric delight. wish they kept using isometric graphics..
once they started using 3d , everything went to shit.

This is why fantasy settings are great. You can set your game in faux-medieval Europe, so you don't have to set every map in one boring desert after another and you don't out yourself as an edgy teenage white supremacist either when you "kill those sub-humans" because in a fantasy setting orcs are in fact sub-human.

Shame they didn't get around to making Legends until after the series went to shit with Stronghold 2 though.
