The whole ''I miss my dad'' is so fucking over done, literally every JRPG/Anime ever made has that one fucking girl with daddy issues, or in some cases several girls with daddy issues, it way overused and cliche and makes her seem like just another stereotypical character without any unique traits. On top of that she basically has no hobbies or interests, all she does in her free time is study without her actually knowing why. Her entire social link is her trying to become less socially autistic and set her own path in life, but by the end she just goes back to studying with a brief ''I want to become chief of police when I'm older''.

All the other girls have their own unique points with interesting stories. Hifumi and her shogi career + the drama involved with it, haru with her gardening and having to bear the responsibility of a multi-national company and an arranged marriage, Ann trying to cope with shiho's rehab and her modelling career, etc. The other girls are much more interesting and have much more depth and character to them, makoto was shallow and poorly written.
