But to answer your question OP, I think it really needs to become more publicly stated that Sony Ponies ARE the absolute cancer of not just /v/, but the online gaming community as a whole.

It's disgusting to me to see how the industry has deluded itself into thinking that how well a console or game is doing, business wise, is the most important thing to talk about instead of the... you know, actual games. And there's a good reason for that. From a sheer quality standpoint, Sony simply cannot compete.

It's amazing to me to see Sony fans promote shit like Crash Bandicoot and Parappa the Rapper as '''''''classics'''' when they would not even be a blip on the radar to a Nintendo fan. Both Elite Beat Agents and Rhythm Heaven have proven themselves to be FAR better and more interesting rhythm games than Parappa, for example, and don't even get me started on their platformers.

Zero is a great game and one that I find to push the genre forward in several interesting ways. For starters, the innovative control scheme leads to an incredibly intuitive, and very realistic flight simulation. Flying and shooting in two different directions is incredibly fun, especially in All-Range mode fights. You can pull off some incredibly cool tricks if you practice enough.

Personally, I find Zero to be better than 64. It simply isn't ground breaking in the same way (Voice acting in games is now nothing new) I'm excited to see how Nintendo pushes the series forward next.

I will never buy VC games after Wii, I don't own any on 3DS and I only have them on Wii U thanks to hacking. Its ridiculous that 10 years after the release of VC we STILL can't play them across all of our devices via account system.

Mario fans are pretty cool, outside of them thinking Mario is the absolute best platformer made.

Zelda fans are largely probably the most annoying honestly. They act like Zelda games are above and beyond any another video game released. Not to mention how mediocre most of the 3D games are, these fuckers still try to treat all of them like 9 or 10s when they're 6s and 7s really. Like I loved Wind Waker but I'm not blind enough to ignore its many faults, and Twilight Princess was fun but had a giant boring empty feild and a ton of fairly useless items (the spinner and the rod are probably the most offensive really). I couldn't even finish Skyward Sword because it was so boring and people will still try to act like that fucking game is a 9/10 for some fucked reason. Fucking Vinny from Vinesauce even said some nonsense like "it's an amazing game, just not a good Zelda game" which is some laughable nonsense. The only thing that comes close to Zelda delusion is Halo delusion, I'm unsure which fanbase.

I like Nintendo as a company and find their games fun, but their fanbase is intolerable. They often don't even really play that many games outside of Nintendo games so they have an exceedingly limited taste when it comes to vidya, yet they will still try to act like some sort of scholar because they think they've been playing the best of the best.
