Of which game? The Vita version of Hollow Fragment is fucking amazing. I hear the re-release made some very questionable changes to the combat system, so I would steer clear of it.

As for Hollow Realization, I've really only heard to expect some performance issues. Naturally, any other version is going to run better, but if you want a portable version and you can put up with the drawbacks of its ilk, give it a try.

I'm replaying HF right now because I forgot most of everything that went down in the Hollow Area. I honestly forgot most of everything about most of the characters. Hoping going back will help me decide my party in the future games. Kinda wish Philia kept her outfit from HF in HR.

I'm having a lot of fun with hollow fragment, havent fucked with realization yet. I can't figure out my party either. I just randomly group with whomever walks up to me. I'm trying to power level people like sinon and silica who started very low level but I dunno.

Honestly, Philia being mandatory throughout most of the Hollow Area's campaign, you're better off just using her if you want an easy way out, or if, coincidentally enough, alongside leveling her up you begin to grow fond of her character. You should be around Lv120 or so when you finish the HA campaign, assuming you just focus on that and don't really diverge and do Aincrad.
