Gone Home was many things, but this wasn't one of them. I'm one of the 4 people on /v/ who actually played the game, and the overall problem was how retardedly simplistic the story actually was. Literally nobody would've given a shit about the game if the main story wasn't about underage lesbians.

Senua is so beautiful and her emotions are visceral and believable so far. I wish I could take care of her.
I think Gone Home was really detailed with a great 90's atmosphere and the dads story was really compelling and enjoyable, I also didn't mind the coming of age lesbian storyline which wasn't pretentious at all. The SJW comics were repulsive but they fit the setting so I can forgive their presence, unlike Mass Effect ruining the lore of the matriarch asari race
