This game is 10 years old in less than 4 months
How old do you feel anon?
>people acting like Paradise is good
>they probably weren't old enough to play Burnout 3 or Revenge
christ I hate nu-/v/

You have to admit, it was pretty fuckin good for it's time tho, with a fuckin huge map, soft car damage, hundreds of different races to compete in, and dozens of cars to unlock and drive, not to mention the numerous dlc cars.
>>386681189
Well, not hundreds, but a very large amount

It's probably the last good arcade racing game but in order for you to have memories of it, you would have had to have played it before B3 or BR which would make you a child.

SHIT COVER'S BLOWN

Naw I was never into racing games but decided to give this one a try since it was 7th gen proper
>no Burnout game ever since
Fuck, Paradise was a bit of a dissapointment coming from Burnout 3, but I still enjoyed the fuck out of it.
I played the shit out Takedown. Played Paradise too and while it was good, it was nowhere near as good as Takedown. I also miss the fucking shit out of the Stuntman series.
TAKE ME DOWN TO THE PARADISE CITY

Open-world killed this game. I liked exploring, but I hated the events.
>>386680853
I'm pretty sure it was released in 2009.
>>386684403
January 2008.
>>386680853
Sucks that all events ended at 8 locations, majority being the wind farm or observatory
Fuck driving all the way into town only to race back out immediately
>>386684403
The PC version was 2009
>>386680969
While it's not the best Burnout. It's pretty safe to say it's in the top 3. Burnout 2 and 3 were the best
>>386682392
STUNTMAN. I was just talking to someone about this the other day and how they haven't had a game since Ignition which sucks cause I strung together every scene in that entire game that shit was hard as fuck
>>386681546
>in order for you to have memories of it, you would have had to have played it before B3 or BR
Or you played it relatively recently?
>>386681546
>It's probably the last good arcade racing game
Counterpoint: Split/Second. I'd also argue Sonic Transformed depending on how loose your definition is. But you're basically right, I'd kill for a good new arcade racer.

This. I play it with my kids all the time. They like the open world driving. Being able to race at any intersection is cool too. And the multiplayer was on point with all the challenges. I don't understand why people are hating on it.
HEY HEY

I DONT LIKE YOUR GIRLFRIEND
NO WAY

I THINK YOU NEED A NEW ONE
HEY HEY

IDK, for a lot of people (me included) the open world element is more annoying than it is helpful.
I don't want to have to drive to all these different garages and whatnot, just give me the instant option to race.
one of my favourite games, best part were the online challenges.
who else p12 diamond here?
>>386680853
I want another, even if Paradise is kind of shitty.
>>386681546
It was easy as shit compared to 3 or even Revenge. The AI just couldn't keep up at all.
>>386682392
>>386685382
>tried to sell stuntman ignition a year after its release
>everyplace i went to could only give me 5 or 6 bux
> even though i got it for 50
>mfw i still have it
>>386687123
Yeah that's what I noticed every race was no challenge
