By that logic Rayman 3 is a shoot'em up because that's how you dispose of the final boss.

I rushed in, underleveled, with a weapon I was just starting to upgrade and still managed to beat them with no problem whatsoever. You can easily parry two of them and visceral for more than 86% of a single one of their health bar and do it during a time you're invincible.

Who's considered the worst boss in this game? I'd consider Witch of Hemlock because of how easy of a fight it is, even if you're still new to the game and fighting it very early.

The entire area leading up to the Witches is more difficult than the boss fight itself.

I honestly I think this is the best group boss in the souls games, besides maybe ornstein and enough. They all have different movesets the compliment each other with their own strengths and weaknesses, and the big snake move they use near the end really catches you off guard in a cool way.

I think the poison damage/aura boosts it gets make up for that nicely. It was a big "Oh, OH SHIT" moment for me that turned the pace of the fight up many notches.

You rush them and dish out more damage to each of them before they can set you up to get hit by fucking everything. Not to mention the most aggressive of them uses normal attacks, so you can parry his ass.

That's why other NPC hunters are the most dangerous enemies in the game. They are just as aggressive as you if not more, plus they can parry you back, almost on reaction.

Shadows are one of the easiest bosses ever, you fucking idiot.

They're not different from how you handle hoardes from the beginning of the game. I literally just dealt with them exactly how I fought the crazed yharnamites at the plaza at the start of the game.

I have a feeling that they added the AOE attack for the same reason they added the hole in the platform for the Old Iron King boss in DaSII. Otherwise you basically just have to put the controller down to lose.
