Borderlands is shitty on the shooter side and equally shitty on the ARPG side, you could at least play Destiny which does both sides better and is even more popular so you won't be a filthy hipster contrarian for playing it!

Ah. It's you again from the last Borderlands thread I saw.
Destiny is nothing like Borderlands, it does not have the same style of randomized loot, does not have the same style of build crafting, does not have the same style of quests, and is not very fun for long. The gameplay of Destiny is fun for maybe a month, until the raids all become the same dumb shit and pvp is bog standard trash. And don't get me started on the fucking tedious "endgame" of destiny, where you just log on for daily challenge shit and nothing else

Borderlands may not be something you like, that's cool. But to compare it to a dissimilar game to pretend you're making some kind of point is retarded, and makes me think you probably haven't played Borderlands on the first place.
