If you arent playing the hardest difficulty you're not playing DX either
>>
>not saving Malik

Saving her is only slightly hard if you're trying for non-lethal no alarms. Saving her on any other terms is piss easy. Also nice toaster.
>>
Should I give Mankind Divided another chance? I just got bored one hour in after getting all the doosex in the summer sale.
>>
>>386590130
You save her and get nothing though, only a shit cameo in MD.
High lethality and setting off alarms breaks immersion
>>
Did this with the stun gun and darts on my pacifist run. The hard part I'd say is making sure the mech exploding doesn't kill anyone that might be next to it

It does get a bit better after the opening, and fucking around Prague is fun.

Saving best girl is it's own reward.

Not even a waifufag, Malik was an endearing character who helped you multiple times through the game. Managing to save her felt good.

Being a stealthy spec op all game then going bat shit crazy with your modified revolver to save Fly Girl is nothing if not immersive

Yeah nah, if you don't save her consider suicide for being such a fucking pleb.
>>
>>386590701

You can save her and do it completely undetected iirc.

I saved her first try on hardest difficulty/first playthrough/ghost-no kill. It wasn't very hard, I just took my time. Never got to experience the meme surrounding its difficulty.

Dealing with bosses while fully spec'd for stealth was more of a challenge.
>>
>>386590279
It gets really fun once you unlock all the bullshit OP augs.
I pretty much exclusively used the PEPS Arm and Icarus Dash after getting them.
The PEPS was especially fun since it made NPCs' ragdolls flop all over the place.
>>
>>386590575

You know they're not real people, right?

It's just a game and if it tries to make you "care" about a collection of polygons to disguise shitty gameplay, it's a bad game.
>>
>>386590947

That art style is fucking atrocious.
>>
>>386590443
I heard how hard it was before playing the game but found it to be really easy. The enemies completely ignore you to shoot at the helicopter so I just ran around doing takedowns and shooting people with the PEPS/tranq gun.

Almost as bad as when books try to make you feel things from words on paper.
>>
>>386591135

It's easy if you've got EMP grenades to deal with the robots, otherwise it's near impossible.
>>
>>386591192

There's nothing wrong with feeling emotional attachment to a fictional character, anon. Obviously you don't have emotional attachments to anyone, in gaming or real life, so it's no surprise you can't grasp this concept.
>>
>>386591419
I think that segment DID briefly cure me of my toogoodtouse sydrome, so that at the very least speaks to its difficulty.
>>
>>386591192
It isn't hard to get some attachment. Obviously it won't ever compare to how someone will feel about a real person, but by this logic, why ever care about the story in any book/game/movie?
>>
>implying breaking your no-kill rule in your first run during this wasn't one of the best parts of the game
>>386591192
You're a brainlet if you don't think context matters. In DXMD there was this side mission where you saved a bunch of people set for deportation. You can either fight with them or disguise them as police officers, or you can tell them to wait as you clear the entire police block by yourself and return. Sure, it's much more work for no tangible gameplay reward, but both moments are really great times where context adds to the experience. The original DX was filled with moments like these and that's why people love playing it, despite the outdated gunplay.

>>
>>386590376
Honestly was the most immersive part of the game for me, didn't really give a shit about most of the story, and was just fucking around as a cool robot dude. But then I was given a reason to care.
>>
>>386592072
My first time through, I didn't even realize you could save her, so I took my time putting the exp and loot containers to sleep.
>>
>>386589772
all you had to do was snipe everyone and then throw an emp grenade at the box
