It does look more realistic if the scene is supposed to be cloudy though. There's no direct sunlight shining through like that in that case, like in the vanilla version. It's not prettier though, that's for sure.

There is a lot video game devs put into the game to try and make it look pretty. Sometimes it is too much, thd game will look pretty but not realistic.

GTAV is a pretty game, but it does not look really realistic. Taking away some of the visual effects, fogging and haze. It begins to look a bit more realistic.

Still far off from photo realistic graphics though, we simply do not have the processing power yet, so it is a bit of a wasted effort.

Even if the mod didn't look worse, (It does for the most part) you can tell that it was made by someone who doesn't live here in LA.

That yellowish tint that's in the game during sunny days? We have that shit. It's called smog.

Removing it to make it crystal clear blue skies is stupid. We only get those kinds of skies the day after it rains 3 weeks out of the year.

And the overcast days? Much more realistic on vanilla, it actually looks grey and gloomy.

Not even going to lie, looking through the video, consistently EVERY comparison shot looks worse in the "mod". It's like there's some smartass going oooh noooo lighting effects, filters, any sort of post processing is baaad, let's fucking remove everything and make it look crisp and clear and simple like some unity stock shit. It doesn't look more "realistic", it looks less good, that's about it. How does it even make the framerate be worse. I don't even get it.
