The Switch is not underpowered, it's the strongest handheld console on the market. Being able to HDMI out to the TV is just an added bonus. If you're expecting PS4 pro level graphics on a platform while still maintaining a portable form factor AND at a relatively reasonable price, you're fucking delusional.

Nintendo needed a gimmick to stand out from the crowd this late into the console generation. They needed to carve out their own niche, and going full portable was a good way to do it. Be thankful that at least this time, they thought up something that actually benefits consumers by giving them more play options instead of adding in some wacky bullshit that hinders controls like the Wii.
