I'm not saying "improvement isn't a good thing" or that said improvements wouldn't be beneficial. However, just because there isn't improvement in one particular vein doesn't mean the entire game is shit. BOTW runs at 30fps and it introduced a ton of new mechanics for the series, and it's GOTY. You know what would solve this? If game companies stopped trying so hard to push the tech they have to their limits from the start. Take more time to sleuth out how to get good performance. I had no problem with the wii u being underpowered for the time because it meant that a lot of the games on the system ran really really well which they ended up doing.
