I have a pretty hardcore PC yet i can't ever agree with this.
PC is just PC. Good for some games but no better than playstation for other games.
I love how PC does RTS, but i hate how PC does most 3rd person games.
FPS games are a mixed bag. Depends on the game and its mechanics/pace if it works best on PC or Console.
I think the only game that seems to work well on both is Overwatch and Destiny. Some players however can't get into not using a mouse for aiming.
I think controllers give a different feeling when playing. It is the same reason why i could never see Killzone 2 work all that well on PC.
But Counter Strike is useless on console.

I started getting into a few myself and noticed that yeah, there are a few super skilled parties but not any more than western players really. Any japanese party I was in seemed just as varied in skill as a western party.

Gears and Uncharted tried to prevent this with inaccurate guns that spread their shot so you don't have to be precise when you shoot and a cover-based invincibility system that rewards sucking at the game.
Max Payne instead rewards strafing, headshots with millimetre precise first shots and moving to avoid actually aggressive enemies, while leaving bullet time as a crutch for bad players.

I think everyone is underplaying the importance of japs on the PS4 version.
The servers are global, and MonHun sells over 50% of its total in Japan alone, so the PS4 version (the only one to be released in Japan) will have a vastly superior playerbase compared to the PC/XBone versions, which will have a much MUCH bigger % of french, russian and brazilian players, pretty much more than double.

Yes 60fps is very nice, but the quality of randoms you'll play with will be so much better on the PS4 that it completely outweighs the 60fps benefit. And as you've pointed out: Hackers on PC will be a pain in the sack, especially when there's no way to avoid playing alongside the worst regions of the world and there's no giant pool of japanese players to dilute out the bad apples.

No way in hell I'm ever going to touch the PC version. In my eyes everything is negative and inferior about it. Less content (no matter how minimal it is) and the delayed release, and the shittier playerbase that also includes scriptkiddies.
