People just want a time sink to do mindless things with virtual "payout". Its the same shit as MMOs like Runescape or any other game with grinding. I don't like it either but I understand the appeal and I've enjoyed Harvest Moon:Friends of Mineral Town when I was younger and in a moment of depression it really helped me farm my worries and problems away.

This is why I didn't buy Hollow Knight during the summer sale

Not a bad game, but for all the praise Silent Hill 2 gets here, it left me a bit disappointed. The game felt shorter than Silent Hill 1 and wasn't as interesting, at least for me. For how short the game was, they could have at least designed a few more enemies instead of having every single area in the game filled with mannequins, lying figures or whatever they are called and Nurses. I also expected the rest of the cast to show up more often.
