during the time I've had a PC I've spent $1700 on steam and I now own 1001 games. I own every major title I'm interested in.
I've spent about $300 on games per year, which is actually the same amount I'd spend on console games before I had a PC (actually less). However I don't think I owned more than 20 console games for any one console.
Now that I own all of the games I want, and have only played about 20% of them, I imagine my spending will reduce in the years to come.
How're your experiences been with upgrading to the master race /v/?
