If you want to help them learn then figure out what they are bad at defending against and start using that move way more than normal. They will either learn how to defend against it or get frustrated and quit depending on the person so don't do it forever, if they don't seem to be getting it just go back to fighting like normal.

I've always been trash at fighting games and this kind of thing helps me learn pretty quick.

You can fully charge your blitz to override their counter blitz, but they could just grab or punish a full charge by not blitzing.

Yesterday I was playing against a Chipp as Dizzy, and I beat him pretty easily. He challenged me again, and I beat him even easier.
I felt bad for the guy, since I got my ass kicked for a month until I got decent, so I lost a round, won the other, and lost the last one in the most convinving way I could. Guy played Chipp's whole victory outro, so I think he was happy.

He died at the end of Revelator, but he died while charging some kind of spell. This is speculation but he might have bound his soul to a nearby "object" kind of like how Zato was "brought back" from the dead. In this case it would have been Robo Ky's head. He was also talking about atonement before his body disintegrated so he might be on a similar path as Faust moving forward, although he no longer has a physical form if this is true. His sister Delilah apparently woke up after he died and she had the same condition/powers as him, albeit much weaker, which is why she couldn't visit other dream worlds. Hopefully she's not the vengeful type.

My guess would be that his sister will become the playable one, but Bedman would be a separate consciousness in her head. Assuming she wants revenge. Which is likely, her brother was the only other person she actually ever knew. Bedman's entire motivation for making the Absolute World (backyard merges with our dimension making anything possible while killing anything that couldn't survive the merge i.e. 99.8% of every living thing in existence) was because dreams are closely connected to the Backyard and he could free his sister from a life of complete isolation within her own dreams. In fact he would have been able to bring back anyone he killed as long as he remembered them, which is the only reason he was able to justify murder to himself. Apparently he had his own plan to do this, but co-operated with Ariels because he genuinely considered her a friend, as she was the first person he ever met, because going into other people's dreams didn't suffice for companionship because they would forget that he existed whenever they woke up. Basically he got used pretty damn hard, and I think he would want to prevent his sister from making the same mistake of sacrificing the world for a single loved one.

I typically don't mash during combos unless the connection is really, really laggy and I need to make sure that my inputs come out. When I play certain characters I do double-tap sometimes, like with Sol if I'm trying to convert off of CH 2D > gunflame I sometimes will tap the HS button twice because that link can be pretty tight.

When I get hit by combos I'm usually holding holding back on the stick, holding down the P button with my thumb, and using my top index/middle/ring fingers to piano the K, S and HS buttons. That way, if the combo ends while you're still in the air or if the opponent drops it, you tech as quickly as possible and the only thing you'll possibly get is faultless defense. You have to be careful not to hit any 3 buttons at the same time though, or else you may end up getting an unwanted roman cancel or if you REALLY screw up and mash all four at once you may get an instant kill mode activation.

I have a question, it seems that when I can't activate IK mode on my keyboard, when I try to press all four buttons at the same time only three seem to register, does this mean my keyboard is a piece of shit?

He's a bit unconventional but generally Bedman wants to put as many of his icons on the screen as possible. In a best case scenario, Bedman will push you towards the corner using either his slow projectiles or his far normals (1/2/3HS) and convert using his special attacks. Every time he uses a special attack he creates an icon that appears on screen in the place where he used the special. While those icons are on screen, he can then use Deja Vu to create a copy of that special move. He can then use those copies to apply pressure or extend combos while Bedman himself moves around normally. So he'll put you in situations where you'll be knocked down in the corner, Bedman will activate Deja Vu on one of his icons and you'll have to block that special move while Bedman can mix you up in different ways.

He's not that difficult compared to other characters, it's just that he has some mechanics that are unique to him.

I've been a Sol main since 1999 I picked him in GG1 because he looked the coolest. I stuck with him because I really liked his story and is the reason I love stories about revenge or characters that were robbed of their humanity. I also love rushdown heavy or aggressive offense characters in fighting games. I kind of wish they'd give him a bit more in the newer games though. I'd kill for "clean hits" from AC+ to come back for him.
