Give me a 3D action game to play on my 3DS. I fucking hate that this piece of shit lost traction and got flooded with JRPGs for the second half of its life when shit like Kid Icarus, ALBW, Dream Drop Distance, and Luigis Mansion were some of the best times I had on the console.

Have a N3DSXL, would prefer a N3DS but the system didn't get enough games in its second half to justify another purchase. Fuck Nintendo for staggering releases on shit like that and Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal so that whales will buy the product multiple times. My 3DS was broken and I needed a new one, I could wait the month and a half it took after the XL came out for them to announce that they decided to bring the N3DS to America after all.

Anyone here played the Mighty Gunvolt Burst game? I lend my 3DS to a cousin and right now i only got my Switch, bought Shovel Knight and im loving it to death, was thinking of getting another game like it.

Word of advice, if you're using a Flashcart to play DS games, try to use a Micro SD card with a good speed, if you're using one of those Class 4 or 6, the game WILL FREEZE and it's annoying as fuck, it's why i never 100%d it.

Probably the best option at the moment. You are getting N3ds hardware (though if you are getting just pokemon games, SM/USUM are the only games that take advantage of the hardware boost) and a clamshell design so I would recommend it. The only thing you're losing from the N3DSxl are the 3D and front-facing speakers but the N2DSxl is 50 bucks cheaper.

Coming from owning both, the bigger screen is nice. It is no larger than an GS8 as far as width, so if find watching videos on that phone or something similar comfortable, the 3DSXL is pretty much the same.

I love mine. It's really light and the only major issue I have is that the top screen is a little loose

I'm playing through Bravely Default, it's been slow going because I'm pretty horrible at keeping interest in JRPGs and because the dragon fight before the wind crystal was one hell of a wall for me. Even with full HP while defending and with protect on he could literally just murder a couple of my squishier jobs at will if he got a crit, and I only pulled through by the skin of my teeth with a hail mary "fuck it I'll just brave four turns and hope it works" stomp-fest by the knight who was the only character left alive. I'm not sure why it kicked my dick
out of my asshole when everything before and after that was so easygoing.

Other than that I love me some job system so hopefully I'll be able to see this one to the end.
