I always try to land with my duo partner near the western bridge that leads to the military base and then take a boat to novorepnoye to have it all for ourselves. If the plane doesn't drop any people on novorepnoye, we usually do that and win most games.

I wanted to play this game so fucking badly but either the games netcode is absolute fucking shit or my internet is fucking shit because during the shorttime I played the game I had an incredibly hard time killing people.

Like, I shot one guy a solid dozen times with the m14 and he just didn't die. Another time I hit someone 5 times with the AKM and again... they didn't die. Meanwhile, I died in 2-3 shots every time.

I'm a pretty good shot in FPS games. It definitely felt like a latency issue.

If I'm solo I just like to pick a little group of 3-4 houses and hope nobody else landed there. Preferably one with a garage nearby. In squads i like Yasnaya since everyone I play with and everyone else goes to cafe or stacks, while I pick the 4 little two story apartments with balconies next to each other and loot those. I'm almost always geared out from them besides maybe a scope. Or if I got a scope then some armor is lv1 still probably

I was playing solo today, I landed in a city that started out in the circle. I found a shotgun and scar, was pretty set, but I needed to take a shit, so I went prone in a house and left my computer for at least five minutes, came back and was still alive but the circle was closing in. I ran to a house that was inside the next circle, and sat there; someone came in a little while later and I one shotted him with my shotgun. He had an SKS and 8x, I cautiously continued to the center as needed, took out three guys as it got real tight, and won.

PUBG is the first competitive game I've played where I can leave for a shit and come back and win.

PUBG is proof that so many anon's on /v/ really are contrarian. My friend bought it for me and its fun every now and then. For as empty as it actually is it feels pretty full and the added tension of the blue wall does pretty well in disrupting campers. I like to land in the middle of nowhere to avoid the initial team deathmatch.

I always drop on high traffic paths, grab a rifle, and pick off anyone in transit to the safe zone. Usually in a place where I know vehicles are going to drive through without paying attention, then I take all their shit. Bridges are pretty nice for that, can't try and dodge and there's usually no cover.

Other than that, I stay in buildings with SMGs or shotguns and blast anyone who comes in. Open ground is a death sentence, and straying out into there makes for a full on battlefield experience of wandering around for 5 minutes before being killed by someone you can't even see.

I usually go either Mylta or Lipovka. I prefer starting far out as possible and moving in along the edge of the circle so I don't have to worry so much about people coming from behind me. Cars spawn frequent enough that it's been forever since the blue actually killed me, especially now that I've gotten used to judging how much time I need or how much I need to move to avoid it, but stay as close to it as possible.

To an extent, yes. Campers always have the upperhand. That said there's enough (at least in first person mode) for you to do as a skilled player to kill them easily. Checking the windows of the building before going inside. Crouch walking near buildings. Checking for open doors. Checking for cars parked suspiciously. Waiting a minute to scope out a group of buildings before moving in. Listening for gunshots and noting where they came from on the compass.

You just have to be careful, most people are just moving around looting most of the time, the only time someone will stop moving and camp is if they hear you or you're near the center of the circle, where a lot of people choose to camp it out, hoping the circle doesn't move off of them.

Rarely have I felt like I died without nothing I could've done. People generally leave enough clues and move the same ways for you to know if someone is in a building or not, or in the trees even.

The RNG in PUBG is good. It allows for conflicts in different areas of the map, every game is different despite it being on the same map every time.

i've been pulling my chute early and going to zhark when its way out of the way of the flight path. Find a car go and loot just about everything then head to the circle. By then about half the people are dead.

Its a small studio, the game is still in early access. That being said the game does have a lot of changes that need to be made. I'm pretty happy with how they've been handling the ridiculous success.
