I don't know what destiny is like but dungeons have always been kind of a shit show at level. the only other thing you're doing pre-80 is putzing around in tyria zones. if you enjoy exploring vanilla zones it's fine but at 80 you can go to the most interesting ones, do fractals (new dungeons), raids, collections and whatever else.

My problem with the PvP in this game is there seems to be no way to come back from a loss. As we speak I'm in a pvp match right now, it was obvious within the first minute that we cant win, so I just have my character run around to capture points with the auto run key and tab out and browse the internet while I wait to lose. I only need about 3 more matches for the last Tome of Knowledge so this works for me either way.

it's crazy because the game really shines in some areas, the world design is probably the best I've seen in any MMO, exploration and detail was great, jumping puzzles were fun, the feel of combat was good even if they fucked up by locking skills to weapons ans generally killing the best aspect of gw1 (skill variety and build experimentation), wvw had a good concept and could've been great (they ruined it), pvp had the potential to be great (they ruined it through stagnation and then actively made it worse through updates), diverse aesthetics between the races and zones were great.

But the writing, story, 'living story' went from bad to terrible at release, then somehow went from terrible to unbearable post release, yet they neglect all the other aspects of the game that could've been improved from release to focus on nothing but the cash shop and the shitshow of a story writing. Truly doubling down on their own faggotry idea of what the game should be and silencing the community outrage, leaving only the drones behind.

The devs ruined gw2, I've never witnessed a more incompetent dev team in my lifetime of gaming.
