the back tracking wasnt done well enough and the stupid "stealth" phases were pretty poor too
remove them and you have a very solid entry

Skyward Sword deserves a 6 at most.

Controls are bad even needing a fix me button, Fi is annoying, combat is dull even when controls work, items mostly useless in combat, shit overworld, the most egregious versions of hey go collect 3 things gain and lots of QoL issues like repeating text. Also it introduced the sprint meter which is the most annoying part of BotW, SS even fucks up other games.

A few overrated dungeons don't save it. SS showed that the zelda cycle is bullshit, I mean that was shown with ALBW but then the handhelds don't count rule was made up.

Extremely linear and hand-holdy, even for 3D Zelda standards. I'll give it that its Dungeon's are stronger than Wind Waker's snoozefests, though.
