Unfortunately 3.61+ cfw isn't likely to ever happen it would require too much work and a really expensive tool to find another entry point. The vita is a suprisingly secure device and kind of a marvel of hardware security.

No. Anything above 3.60 is not going to be worth that much imo. Maybe if it were on a lower fw, but with the sd card adapters getting released you're better of getting one on old fw or getting a used one cheap with newer fw and replacing the mobo

Lots of neat things no synthesizer though that I have seen, but tons of custom themes plus it can run psp games a few games are a lot nicer with both sticks. It can emulate the systems that the psp could much better. No slow downs in the snes games that I have seen.

I own a vita and honestly regret it. The left thumbstick doesn't work properly and there are no games worth owning on it. I haven't thrown it out yet because I at least was able to jailbreak it.
