Both games are more actioney versions of Kingdom Hearts but DDD actually commits whereas BBS wallows in a terrible middle ground.

flowmotion defeats the purpose of any movement commands you get, raising dream eaters is such a funking pain, its grindy as hell and bullshit because if you want all the abilities a dream eater you have to waste time feeding t and petting it until it changes to the one of four dispositions it could change to with only or two actually giving you the rest of the abilities it has
the worlds are worse because how big they are means that searching for chests is such a fucking pain the dick, especially if you're missing one of the 50 chests in every world
also bigger is worst because it you die at the end of a huge room, you go back to the very beginning of that huge room and have to recollect everything and fight all the baddies all over again, this is especially an issue in Sora's part of TWTNW, its just TWO giant rooms with endgame enemies that can easily kill you send back to the start on harder difficulties
the final boss choices are cool (minus Ven armor) but can still be easily beaten like every other boss in the game with balloonra and cures
Dream Eaters are the fucking worst, again they are grindy as hell and are terrible to fight agasint, you walk into a room and have to fight like eight to ten enemies, all attacking you at once, and they all have bullshit moves that cause major damage, stun, status affects, long lasting moves that are just constantly hitting you so you can move or heal yourself, the only way to deal with these guys is with thundaga, so they are either a pain to fght against or a bore, take your pick, both are shitty
the music is necessarily bad but it doesn't suit kh, its like its trying to sound "magical" instead of actually sounding good, this is easily shimomura's worst work in the series yet

Pretty hype. Since I only have KH2 for ps2, I asked to borrow my friend's ps3 version of 1.5 and 2.5 to play. Got through KH with no trouble, though it's a tad more difficult to get through 2 and BbS with a busted controller (two buttons on the d pad are broken and it's a wired controller so the wires are showing). Can't use drive forms or build gummi ships correctly, nor can I use d-links in BbS. Gonna save some money and buy a new one if I can find one for cheap.
