BotW at least offers a higher world-interactivity and exploration factor to the genre. Horizon is instead centred around the action, and I wouldn't say the combat is great.

At least it looks good, besides the godawful facial capture.

The bow stuff is great.

But there are zero options for up close combat except your shitty spear.

That's what turned me off ultimately. Shooting at 5+ enemies who are within spitting distance with a long range weapon sucks.

Maybe if they add more weapons int he DLC Ill try it out again.
