I fucking remember getting Ass Creed 1 on release and being so disappointed in how garbage that game was. Litererally one of the most bare bones releases of all time, for how hyped it was anyways. The only way to think Ass Creed 1 was good was to be underage at the time. Then I remember a few years later Ass Creed 2 getting released and everyone praising it as everything Ass Creed 1 was meant to be, I bought it cheap a few years later and while it has some minor improvements, was still trash. Never touched the series again.

And no, unless you are seriously putting some good hours into an arcade unit, in which you likely own the arcade unit yourself or wasted a decent amount of money playing it, then no I wouldn't count it. Australian. My dad also played a lot of Colin McRae Rally too though I really wasn't into that one. I was just a kid though so I couldn't go and refund his Rally games. He also played fuckloads of TOCA Touring Car games, I actually found TOCA 3 really fun, not the first 2 though, even though I played those games a fair bit as well.

I didn't think V Rally 2 was bad, I just wasn't into Rally much myself. I liked the track editor and generator though, for a PS1 game that was pretty cool.

If it's really that bad and long I drop it. Nothings gets on the list without completion or mastery. Sometimes if something is long or bad, I will put it on hold and play something else, then come back to it later. I have forced myself to finish a few games before since I had enough hours in them already and was over the halfway point.

I did it by looking at metacritics list of games and just writing everything I played or when I was reminded of something I played. Also these arent all of the games I played, some I just couldnt remember and If I didnt played a game for at least a hour I didnt put it on the list. It took me almost 4 hours to this.

You would think so, but once you ramp up the difficulty it becomes such a different game in my opinion. Sure it is clunky but the huge amount of powers you have coupled with most of them being useful in some situations or another made me enjoy the game far more than I should.

It is basically the same reason why Gauntlet is there. Because both Force Unleashed and Gauntlet (playing as the wizard, alone) offers such a distinct and unique gameplay where you sling so many god damn spells that it is ridiculous. For years I want a proper action game where you get to play as a mighty wizard with tons of different spells. These two scratched that itch.

One of the things that I hate about these lists is how one series provides such fantastics games. I hate the whole "I already have Megaman 3 in my list, I better not put any other Megaman". When I played it though I was going in expecting a Sith dark side simulator and was put off when Gaylen turns to the light side. Also the PS3 version was bad. Like for example, Shadow Warrior 1997. Fucking god tier level design and fun gameplay mechanics. I absolutely loved it. But I rank it fucking 130 because I have played that many other good games, and a few of my favorite series, namely late 90's and early 2000's era Star Wars games hog up a lot of the high positions.

Well I used excel. I labeled all of the games with the year of realease. And sorted the games using excels filters in their year first. That made it much easier because I could sort smaller number of games at one time.
