Logitech G102

This mouse is a genuine fucking piece of shit, I had the exact same one and the braided cords are such retarded cancer that it would either bunch up, or the braids would like break open exposing the cord underneath. I tried to remove them entirely but there was some inside the fucking mouse that was impossible to get out.

Been using a Rival 300 for about a year now and it seems pretty decent. Has acceleration control in the driver which is good, means you can standardize that shit across all games so you can do slow accurate aiming but still flick fast. I used to have this idea that mouse acceleration was for people who don't know how to PC but it turns out everyone I know who is good at quake plays with super low sens + acceleration.

I had that mouse and moved on to the G502 after it broke. Been using it for about a year now and I'd say its a pretty good substitute.

I replaced mine with a Chroma about a year ago. I say 'replaced', but I still use it because I could never find something to replace the G500. I just use it in much smaller capacity.

The short of it is that you never will find something that fits your hand as good as the G500. You can only find something that you can live with. For me, it was the Chroma (But the banana shape of the thing drove my nuts for a few months after getting it).

Just be warned.

i like g900 but there's no way i can say that the msrp is justified

If you're happy with the shape and size of the g500 then look at the g502, g402, g403 and so on. You'll also enjoy the benefits of having an accurate optical sensor instead of a shitty laser one.
