He falls a little too quickly for my liking. Mario has always had mad hops, but in this it seems to be over in no time. Sunshine and 64 had it right.

I didn't watch the entire treehouse, but I saw segments of it, and plenty of WebM's posted on /v/. I remember one point of Treehouse they were literally on girders and steel cages in the sky, possessing bullet bills to pass to the next section, which was more of the same. I mean, look at this thread.

You don't really know what you're talking about though, it has a beaten track like both 64 and sunshine, with arrows and level design that guide and funnel the player, except it improves on this by making larger paths and varying the gameplay segments between them, on top of that we've only actually seen 3 of the 9 known and 10 suspected levels of the game, and the desert is the largest and most open level with different paths throughout the level including faster ones that require more skill to reach. There's also the additional improvement of Moons now being better hidden and secret sub levels now being more numerous and not being pre defined objectives.

And? Whats your point? Even Mario 64/sunshine had secrets and other segments that were linear within their open world. This Isn't GTA or BOTW. There is still platforming and obstacles to pass. How lame would it be to just walk around all of those obstacles to the moon piece?
