I mainly picked it up because of a post someone else made showing off a bunch of creature descriptions and I feared I'd have to go through a huge chunk of the game to get to the good stuff, but nope; MOST of the enemies are good.

The gameplay might not be as good and the controls are really annoying at first (I got used to them though), but this is so much more colorful and inventive than King's Field 4 in terms of visuals.

I actually do have diagnosed OCD though which made me want to start new save files over and over again so I can one-shot the werewolf at the star, just to say "fuck you" to the game for pulling that gimmick for the sake of the "get ready.... to die xD" meme

I was talking about Bloodborne here, by the way; Shadow Tower has no particularly hard opponent at the start just to fuck with you. So far it actually hasn't been that hard.

This thing looked nice enough when I thought it was just some background item but then it came to life and started shooting ice breath & using its spine to stab me.
