Aqua with a thunder surge deck with 2 curas. Recovery shield also helps a lot. There are very few openings during that fight so be patient.

Well thats the hardest boss in the entire kingdom hearts series made harder if you choose to fight him with terra as terras dodge is awful. Go in with 4 thundersurges and 4 curagas, you'll only need 4 curagas if your terra as he cannot dodge or block the lasor bubbles so you have to tank it and the only way to do that is by using all 4 curagas at the right moments. Thunder surge is important because it allows you to do decent damage while giving you invincibility frames and causes him to flinch. for your shot lock you should go with bio barrage as it has the lowest lock on count. lastly I don't know if this actually does anything but turn off every ability you don't need this apparently makes him a bit easier but I dont know it it actually does anything. good luck though I beat him with terra on proud and it was fucking hard

Don't play as Terra. The fight is about 500 times harder as him since he doesn't have infinite I-frames like Aqua and Ventus.
