i've only been stung by a bee once. it was some kind of huge, ground-nesting bee. i was in the woods with my friends, and i guess one them stepped near a home or hive or whatever, i guess. that thing chased us and didn't stop for a second. my friend got stung like 8 times. i got stung once on the lip, smacked him off, then he left.

honey bees are cool though. if they're buzzing around you, they won't sting you. they're just checking you out and being annoying.

I've never been stung by anything until 2 days ago, I'm visiting my father and was mowing his lawn for him and out of no where i felt 3 sharp hot bites. I yelled like a bitch and ran inside. He thought i was being a fag so he went outside to 'finish' what i had left (which was like maybe 10 seconds left of mowing) and his dumbass gets stung 6 times by the same thing. Apparently, they were yellow jackets/wasps but fuck they hurt so back, My first time and it had to be that pain and some numbness for about 8 hours. They went inside my fucking shirt and shoes/socks. Smart little fuckers. I'm lucky they didn't go for my balls/dick considering I was wearing shorts.

2 days later and the stings still hurt to touch.

I used to work as an exterminator and rarely wore a bee suit. Only got stung a couple times over 2 years. In day to day life they're easy as hell to avoid.

My dentist actually told me a story once where she was hiking and accidentally stepped in one of those bee nests. Her entire ankle was stung to shit, and as luck would have it, not much later a copperhead bit her in the same spot.

As it turns out, bee stings slow the circulation in the affected areas so she'd probably be dead if not for those bees.
