It was pretty cool, but the controls made it a lot harder than it needed to be. Not assigning movement to the left stick and the camera to the right should be deemed a punishable crime.

Unreal and Quake always felt like I shouldn't have been playing them. I played Eternal Darkness when I was 9/10 and it all went right over my head.

For some reason the spookiest vidya thing when I was a kid was Stop n' Swop. Once I found out you could use super long cheat codes to get these weird eggs and the key that was inaccessible, it really felt like I was finding something that should have been left alone. Kids are dumb.
