this was actually the game that got me thinking about this but i hear that the game is pretty unfinished and flawed even for early access, so im hesitant
Dota 2 has a steep learning curve but there are MANY ways to save people. From stunning whoever is chasing them to healing your teammate just in time or making him invincible in many different ways.
>Shallow Grave
ally cant die for 5 seconds
>Guardian Angel
ally is immune to physical damage for 7 or so seconds
>False Promise
Damage taken by your teammate is delayed until the duration ends
etc
Lots of ways to save people. But the game is pretty tough to play. Big time sink.

Agreed, I have 20 hours into the game so far. It's a lot of fun, and for $18 i got my money's worth, but they really need to fix some shit before I invest a lot more time to the game.

Overwatch, pick Zen to shit on enemies while healing bros

Journey. It's a pretty short game so it's quite easy to learn the fastest routes, secrets and the icon locations. It's then really warming to guide a fresh brown robe along on their first pilgrimage.

>Stand there doing nothing the entire game
>Still end up being the play-making MVP who saved your entire team multiple times

anytime theres npc soldiers in the game, do all you can to make sure they live through till the mission
Grand Theft Auto Online is a shitshow of a video game but it's surprisingly good for helping bros in, especially once you're an established player. The early game is designed to be painful in order to sell cash cards but a good mate or two can bypass that with a bit of work.
The problem is finding people worth helping because 99% of the playerbase are third-worlders and/or literal children, but when you find that one guy who speaks English well and doesn't shoot on sight, it's glorious.I've even made a few IRL friends from it.
