Back then scores in the 6's and 7's wasn't the end of the world like it is for modern games. Games were still seen as possibly redeemable if they had those scores. These days review scores are so inflated due to cancerous hype that anything scoring even below a 9 is looked at as an awful game.

I played some of those games listed. Stuntman and God Hand in particular come to mind. Pretty good fun games and I'd say they are even correctly reviewed according to this picture. Which makes them good games.

I'm not speaking for everyone, but in my experience, around me, people who had an Xbox (the few who did) were considered as weird guys who wanted a kinda feel of a PC experience without having to pay, play or build themselves a PC.

And people who judge a console in terms of its hardware are retarded. It's the experience you have with a system that counts. Are you happy with your purchase? During your years with that system, did you regret your choice, or did you feel you were missing out on a few games that you really, really wanted to play ? This is all that matters. And that's why the PS2 was great. That's also why the PS1 was great. I personally preferred the Saturn for personal taste, but in the end, I ditched it for a PS1 to play FF7, Soul Calibur and Tekken.
